We have expert staff available to support all students at the University of Kent. We can help with mental health, disability, autism and specific learning differences (SpLDs, including ADHD and dyslexia), and accessibility. We have reception teams on the Canterbury and Medway campuses.

The Careers and Employability service is available to all University of Kent Students. We are an impartial service focused on giving you the tools to improve your employability. You can access one-to-one career support from our trained career advisers, as well as attend our career events. We run regular workshops, talks and careers fairs you can attend, many of which feature employers and Kent Alumni.

Our campus is close to the towns of Rochester and Chatham, with their fascinating histories, and part of the redeveloped Chatham Maritime area.

Rochester offers a mix of well-known high-street names and independent shops and cafés; it’s worth exploring its ancient streets as there is lots to discover. Medway has a thriving music scene with live bands performing at venues such as The Eagle Tavern, The Ship Inn and the Tap ‘n’ Tin. For clubbers, Casino Rooms in Rochester or Source Bar in nearby Maidstone offer a good night out.

With beautiful country parks and historic buildings, riverside bars and restaurants, there’s so much to do in Medway.
